ME.CON traces its history to two companies, Al Waleed Auto Technical Center (specialized in Auto repair and Heavy Equipment Rental), which was founded in 1998 by Mr. Khalid Al Essy, and Target Trading and Contracting Company (specialized in Civil & Steel Structure Contracting and Heavy Equipment Rental), which was founded in 1995 by Eng. Ala Salama. In 2009, the Heavy Equipment Rental Division in Al Waleed Auto Technical Center merged with the Heavy Equipment Rental Division in Target Trading and Contracting Company to create Mediterranean Equipment and Contracting whose sole business is Heavy Equipment Rental.

Today ME.CON is focused on growth opportunities by increasing its strategic market penetration through investing in new fleet and continuing to provide excellent service to its valued customers. ME.CON’s core competencies include its well-managed fleet, its professional sales force and its dedication to its customers. The Company is dedicated to providing the right equipment in a timely and professional fashion.
